We do not knowingly collect more information than is necessary for the purposes described below.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

Where this regulation applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g., marketing); performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and communicating with interested parties; and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., website hosting, analytics, email delivery, identity verification, KYC/AML, and professional advisers), under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms;

International transfers

We are based in Canada and use service providers that may be located in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection as required by applicable law (for example, standard contractual clauses for transfers subject to GDPR/UK-GDPR).

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required to meet legal, accounting, regulatory (including KYC/AML record-keeping), or reporting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
